ok, I’ll admit it, I’m pretty excited.

I’ve been in Goris for a week slogging through on a film project for Peace Corps with my team who has been working, some of us, since October 2009.  We’re calling ourselves Skin of Our Teeth Productions, because… well, I think you get it.  And this month I think, I hope, I pray, I light candles to all the gods BECAUSE WE MIGHT FINISH.  Praise him. Remember that gnarly throat picture of last post?  Even though that picture was from last year, I’m that kind of sick again.  Can’t quite kick the cough.  Kelly, who was sick for our entire Turkey trip is still battling her cough as well back in Fort Worth, and this has caused me to contemplate where I might like to be nursing my cold right now.  I’ve come up with my ideals: 1. When I started this blog, I had hoped that I would be able to steer clear of typical blogdom. Mostly I mean that I hoped I would subject my posts to a literary standard. It would not be a recepticle into which I would vomit whatever bit of my personality I feel I need to share with the world.
